XVI Marathon in Rome dadicated to Bikila

21st March at 9.00 a.m. starting in Via dei Fori Imperiali ( Colosseo): one of the city's most suggestive sport events,the Marathon in Roma.
This year is to celebrate the memory of the legendary bi- olimphic of marathon ethopeen Abebe Bikila, 50 years after the olimpic games on the naked foot, Rome 1960.
During this event the city centre is going to be transformed into a no-traffic zone and animated with concerts and performances that celebrate this festival of sport.
As well as the marathon there will be the traditional "Fun Run" (a non-competitive event open to all).Contacts and Useful Info:
